Goslinsky House (page 2 of 2)

Detail of Gothic windows and an Art Nouveau drainpipe on a Shingle Style rowhouse. Photo by Howard J. Partridge.

Front Corner Window and Drainpipe Detail
Samuel Goslinsky House in San Francisco, California

The flamboyant, NeoGothic tracery in the corner windows was a favorite motif of Bernard Maybeck, who was the architect of this 1909 house.  Less typical of Maybeck's signature work is the unusual Art Nouveau inspired copper drainpipe.  Photograph taken in 2001 by Howard J. Partridge.
